Despite the name, the Little Martin LX1E is very big on tone, quality and versatility. This guitar features impressive construction, including a solid Sitka spruce top complimented by a Mahogany high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides. It includes sustainable wood certified parts.

The LX1E is the perfect companion guitar for travel or for home. Play beside the campfire or student practice, it really is a versatile little instrument.

Pickups

The Martin LX1E is packed with features including a Fishman Sonitone preamp making you ready to play recordings or live performances. Adjust your amplified tone with ease and precision. The Sonitone preamp offers a flexibility and a unique tone that lends itself perfectly to a large number of playing styles and musical genres. Simply plug into an amplifier or PA system to shape your sound.

Construction

Whilst a preamp can play its part, it's the Martin LX1E's construction which lays at the heart of its stunning tones. A guitar's wood has great influence over its sound, and those of the LX1E have been chosen for their desirable properties. The body being constructed of mahogany gives this guitar a bold yet well-balanced sound, which also provides flexibility. The Sitka spruce solid top gives a broad dynamic range, with an articulate and responsive sound.

Comfortable playing

The Little Martin LX1E pairs a birch laminate neck with a Richlite fingerboard, the combination offering guitarists the ultimate playing experience with the ability to effortlessly glide between frets. The fretboard also provides the sonically pleasing nature of ebony, adding sustain and plenty of bite. Richlite, made from recycled paper and phenolic resin, has become a popular material for fingerboard construction. It's eco-friendly credentials and fantastic playability has seen it quickly adopted.

Effortless transport

The LX1E electro-acoustic guitar comes with a padded gig bag making it easier to transport and protect whilst doing so. The bag features a cushioned carrying handle to transfer weight from the guitar, and a padded interior for protection of the body. On the outside you'll find a useful pocket to store all of your extra accessories which will no doubt be needed whilst on the road with your instrument.
