Augustine Guitar strings
Augustine Classical Guitar Strings
Augustine has been producing classical guitar strings since 1946 when Danish luthier Albert Augustine moved to New York from his homeland to pursue his career. He had the distinction of developing the first nylon strings, a feat he achieved by working in collaboration with Andres Segovia. Today Augustine classical guitar strings are revered for their tonal colour, remarkable consistency and wonderful feel and we are proud to feature them in the London Guitar Studio collection.
The Augustine range boasts the right strings for every musical occasion whether you are busking in Piccadilly or performing at the Royal Albert Hall! The Classic series possess a darker tone whilst the Imperial and Regal series offer louder, brighter results. If you were wondering about the different colours in the series then blue features high tension bass, red offers medium tension bass and black light tension.
With London Guitar Studio you can discover your favoured series and colour from Augustine or develop the right combination for your style.
