This collection of carols is suitable for first and second year guitarists, and can be used as supplementary material to tutor books such as the first two volumes of the Guitarist's Way series. The first pieces use common notes on the top three strings only. Bass notes are gradually introduced, as are simple position changes, and the book finishes with a setting of "God rest you merry, gentleman" which introduces two-note chords.
