Collected Guitar Works: The Early Spanish Editions

This new collected edition contains all Tárrega's compositions which were published in early Spanish editions. They are presented as unaltered Reprints dating from 1902-c.1920. (Three titles on the AB Syllabus are in this book, which although not the recommended edition would be suitable to use).

The first part of Tarrega's Guitar Works represents the totality of Tarrega's published works up to the time of his death in 1909 in the same order in which they were issued.  Published in Spain during the composer's lifetime they include Preludes, Studies, Concert Works and Transcriptions.

The second part contains the entire holdings of the Ildefonso Alier catalogue published under the collective title "Obras postumas escogidas"

A must have for any enthusiast, it is beautifully presented and spiral bound for ease of use.
