Mario Aracama began making guitars in the 1990's after attending the London Guildhall University where he graduated with a BA honors in Musical Instrument Technology. Soon after, in 2003, he moved to Granada where he kept on investigating and learned traditional techniques from the hands of Antonio Marín workshop to continue the line based by the Torres tradition. In the year 2014, he moved his workshop to the Alpujarras mountains range very near Granada, where he continues working.
Specification:
*The top is lightly braced with a 5 fan and a thin bar underneath the bridge saddle.
*Cedar top on a Madagascar back and sides.
*Neck is cedar from Brasil, fingerboard is ebony from Cameroon, bridge is Madagascar rosewood.
*String length is 650 mm.
*Width at nut is 52mm.
*The guitar is french polished.
*Machines heads are Perona high quality tuners.
*Strings are Knobloch carbon medium/high tension from Spain.
