These are the original Augustine guitar strings, an intrinsic part of the classical guitar revolution this century. Albert Augustine, an instrument maker, found himself pressured by none other than Andres Segovia to manufacture and sell nylon guitar strings. He did so, insuring the rise of a new generation of concert players and lending his own part to the cultivation and completion of the famous Segovia Sound.
Normal tension nylon trebles and medium tension basses coprise perhaps Augustine's most comfortable set. Classic/Red;s forgiving softness and ample tone makes it the leading choice of many beginners.

*Delivery is free on orders over £75.00 within the mainland UK excluding guitars and hard cases where a delivery charge of £9.95 is applied per order.
A delivery charge of £1.95 will be applied to orders below £75.00.
Orders received from the channel islands are free of VAT.
