Flamenco Guitar Negra

Susana Martín Hernández 2015

This flamenco guitar is made by the guitar maker Susana Martín Hernández of Malaga in the year 2014. Top disciple of the ‘maestro’ José Angel Chacón, she is one of the few renowned women luthiers in the world. Her instruments are inspired on the great past masters, such as Santos Hernández or Antonio de Torres, getting a really traditional sound with a unique quality. On her workshop she has had artists as Paco de Antequera, Curro de María, Fernando Moreno... among others.

Carefully selected woods are chosen for this fine guitar. German spruce can be found on the top, with a straight and even grain all along its surface. The back and sides are made of cypress wood. These woods have got outstanding beauty and quality.

The sound of this flamenco guitar is astonishing. In fact, the sound is really mature, which can mostly be found in older, high-quality guitars. The basses are bright, powerful, very strumming ; the trebles are vivid, with spectacular brightness and volume.

The tension of this guitar is middle-low and the height of strings in the saddle and fingerboard is perfectly balanced, all of which provides the guitarist with a high degree of comfort for both hands.

The condition of the guitar is brand new.

Amazing flamenco sound and excellent luthier quality for the money which is rare at this price.
